Omega-3 fatty acids belong to the group of polyunsaturated fatty acids and essential fatty acids (EFAs), which are characterized by a double bond at the third carbon atom, counting from the methyl end of the chain. These compounds include eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Since omega-3s are not synthesized by the human body, they must be obtained through daily diet or dietary supplements. The main sources of omega-3s include fatty marine fish, shellfish, and caviar.

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and healthy vision.
Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and DHA contribute to normal cardiac function, with a beneficial effect achieved by consuming 250 mg of EPA and DHA per day.
CAUTION! Due to the high fish oil content, the product may have a fishy odor.
