What it is
Avena Quality Food is an oat flour made by +Watt and sold in a 1.36 kg jar with a measuring scoop. It comes in three flavours: Cacao, Crema Cappuccino and Nocciola. You can stir it into a shake, cook it as porridge or use it as the base of a pancake batter in place of classic flour. Each flavour gives the flour a different taste, from cocoa to coffee to hazelnut.
Composition and quality
Oat flour is the main ingredient and makes up at least 92% of each flavour. Oats naturally contain fibre, including beta glucans, and the formula adds taurine, chromium and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C and E. A 50 g serving gives at least 6 g of protein and at least 4.6 g of fibre, with no more than 1 g of sugars. Crema Cappuccino contains freeze dried coffee, and the flavoured versions contain sweeteners. The producer declares the product gluten free and lactose free, and it may contain soy and egg. Each flavour keeps its own ingredient list, shown in the ingredients section.

Dose:

Preparation:
Dissolve the 4 scoops in 150 ml of water or low fat milk. The jar contains a measuring scoop. You can also use it in place of classic flour in pancakes and porridge.
